At 3:30 AM we received a call from the transportation department announcing that school was cancelled due to the snow. We received a call from the High School at 5:00 AM, and a call from the Elementary School at 6:30 AM. We were well informed. I think we received about 2 inches of snow and the roads are clear. I just laughed. I can understand if the roads were covered because there are not any snow plows, but they are clear. The kids were excited and Doug gets to stay home too, so I'm not complaining. It is close to 10:00 AM and it's almost all melted! The kids bundled up and went outside to play anyways.

We were in Anaheim when the big snow hit last week--it snowed in Malibu! Are you guys in Utah? Would love to get together if there is anyway you could squeeze us in!

Only in the desert is a few inches of snow so much fun! The unexpected is much more exciting!
