50th Wedding Anniversary

My Mom and Dad celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary!  Our family planned a special surprise for them.  I was able to travel to Utah and surprise them by my visit.  My sisters were also able to go too.  The entire family all went out to a chinese restaurant and then to the church for a reception.  We had a fun slide show put together as well as a book with special letters or notes from every person in our family.  It was fun to spend time together as a family and to celebrate this awesome occasion.

Grandma's Birthday

Doug's mom was visiting over her birthday.  We all had fun celebrating her special day.

Grandma's birthday happens to also fall on St. Patrick's Day

Happy Birthday!  We were so happy to celebrate this special day with you!

Fun with Cars

We had lots of fun while Grandma Farr was visiting.  One of the activities we enjoyed was an idea I got off of Pinterest.  Just a little masking tape, some cars, paper, and lots of imagination:

Grandma had lots of fun making paper buildings and houses for our town.

The kids really didn't play with it as long as I thought they would, but it was still fun for a little while.

We also had the chance to go to the park and play while Grandma was visiting.

Lexi's 9th Birthday

We were lucky to have Grandma visiting over Lexi's birthday.  Lexi had a special birthday this year.  She opted to have a mommy daughter date.  We first went out to one of her favorite restaurants...the Golden Corral.  Then we went to see a movie and to get her ears pierced.  She said that piercing her ears hurt more than she had expected.  

We had a blast together.
