Spring Break 2013

Doug had the exciting opportunity to travel to Disneyland with his band this year during spring break, so the kids and I decided to take off to Utah for a trip as well.

We always try to make our 8 hour tedious car ride as fun as possible.  The following pictures were taken at a rest stop:

The next day we went to a bounce house with our cousins.  We had so much fun!

Grandma Farr turns 68

We were lucky again this year to have Grandma & Grandpa Farr come to visit during Grandma's birthday.  We celebrated with a party and food!  Happy Birthday Grandma Farr!

"The King and I"

Kaylee and Lexi were able to participate in Greeley Central's 2013 High School Musical.  They played twin children in the production of "The King and I".  They had a really fun time.  The girls had to temporarily dye their hair black each night (for the dress rehearsals and performances), which took a really long time.  At the end of the rehearsals, they were going to bed close to midnight.  Very exhausting, but a very enjoyable memory that we will never forget!

Lexi's Birthday

Lexi had a great 10th birthday. She wanted a rainbow cake, surrounded by kitkats with reeses pieces on top and tied with a bow.  It turned out great!  I know I had more pictures of her birthday, but I can't find them.  They must have somehow been deleted.  :(
