HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAYLEE! Today Kaylee turned 8 years old. Last night her Grandma & Grandpa Farr and her Aunt Heather came to visit for the night. We spent the evening together, opened some presents and had some Birthday Cake. 
She received a great present from her grandparents...A purse filled with accessories, including a gift card. She is all ready to go shopping!
Today she is having a few friends over to swim with her. She wanted a small party with some of her closest friends. Her theme is fish. She saw a cake shaped like a fish online that she really liked. I decided to give it a try. It is the first cake I've made with fondant frosting:
Grandma Farr & Aunt Heather helped me do the final details. They had some great ideas!

What a darling cake...very creative...very cute. You are amazing with all you have to do, to make this time consuming cake! One of your best! I'll bet Kaylee was very happy with it. When you said you were making a fish, well, I wondered how that would work out...Wow, it is so CUTE.

How wonderful for Kaylee to have visitors for her birthday. It looks like grandma and grandpa spoiled her like always. I'm glad you had a great birthday, Kaylee. Kristi, you did a great job with the cake. You motivated me to do a more complex cake next time!
