Desert Snow

Today was one of those rare exceptions to the desert weather. It snowed. The kids were all very excited and decided to build snowman.

Growing up in Utah I would have called this creation pathetic, but here in the desert it is a masterpiece. The girls had already changed into their jammies before I decided to take the picture, so you'll have to excuse their flip flops and bedtime attire. The kids are looking forward to building an awesome snowman in Utah next week.

That's one dirty snowman, but a snowman nonetheless. I'm sure it was very exciting for them!

That's a lot of fun to have snow. You will definately have plenty of it to play in here. It seems the snow just won't stop. We can't wait for your visit next week. It will be so much fun. Yay!!!

Wait until next week...the kids will see what real snow is all about! We can't wait, but please BE CAREFUL, watch the weather reports and take is SLOW! Watch for careless drivers going too fast...drive defensively and take care of yourselves. Let is Snow, but not until after you are here! Wouldn't you know that the time you intend to come for Christmas, it snows more than it has for thirty years....
