First Snow

Last Saturday the kids woke up to snow. Living in the desert the past 5 1/2 years has only enhanced their excitement for the upcoming winter season. I, on the other hand, can certainly wait a little longer for winter. The snow has melted and it is feeling much more like fall. The weather is a perfect 70 degrees, the fall colors are beautiful, and the crisp air makes me happy.

I can imagine how much fun it is to be able to experience snow at home for the kids. I personally hate letting them play out in it because they come back in with lots of wet clothes and gear.

Oh what a cute picture. It seems way to early for snow. The kids will love it for a while..but it is going to get a lot colder and then I think the love of that white stuff will lessen. It is beautiful and as long as it stays off the streets... I don't mind it that much.

I was in Johnstown to watch my grandchildren's soccer games that weekend. I only brought sweaters. I ended up buying a fleece at Sams and bowling! It was beautiful though. . . .
