More Visitors

We've been really lucky to have lots of family visit us this past month. Last weekend, Doug's Mom and Dad came to visit us. It was fun to have them here over the Holiday weekend. On Friday (Halloween), we carved pumpkins. I took a short video of how they turned out:

On Halloween night, we went trunk-or-treating at the church. Jordan was a Ninja, Kaylee was a Twisted Witch, Lexi was a Cheerleader, and Mason was Superman.

On Saturday, we headed to the Lied Children's Museum in Vegas. We have a seasonal pass there and the kids always have a great time.

Doug had a Marching Band competition and wasn't able to join in the fun. :(

On Sunday, we went to church where the kids practiced for their primary presentation. Their presentation is in 2 weeks. Grandma & Grandpa were able to see them practice, so that was fun.

Grandpa recently had his 65th birthday and we celebrated by having Oreo Pie after dinner...YUMMY!

We had a great time with them and it was sad to see them go. Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for a great visit!

Okay...three things. First I just had a flash back to when Joe and I were dating and he had me watch UHF. Thanks for the Spatula City music. Good times. Second, what exactly is a twisted witch? Your kids look great. Last, I have never gone to Lieds Children Museum. Is it expensive to go and/or buy a pass? It looks like my kids would love it too. Is that the last of your visitors for awhile?

The kids and the pumpkins look cute! Also, is that the Children's Museum right by the homeless shelter?

The museum is connected to a library in a not so good area of town...so there are a lot of bums hangin' out in front. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a homeless shelter nearby.

Okay, until you described all of the bums in front of the museum I was going to comment on how fun and nice the Children's museum seemed. It looks like everyone had a great time. Glad that you had fun with Doug's parents. The kids looked cute for Halloween. But I'm with Kathryn. What is a twisted witch?
